Dear Physiology Graduates,
This year has been unprecedented and has caused us to change the way we teach, study, and celebrate our successes. Although we are not able to hold a ceremony, we are nonetheless very proud of your accomplishments. During our in-person ceremony, we are given the great privilege to read your name, hand you a certificate and be the first to congratulate you as you walk across the stage. We usually ask our students to let us know what they plan to do after graduation. We feel such a sense of pride seeing you, our amazing students, complete this challenging degree and hearing about your plans to attend various professional schools with the purpose of helping others and making the world better.
Although this year you will not have the chance to experience that moment when your name is called and you walk across the stage, you can still feel a sense of pride and accomplishment for completing your degree. Take a moment and think back to the times when you stayed up late to study, when you had to make sacrifices and when you struggled to learn the enormous amount of information in your classes. Feel that sense of accomplishment. You overcame the difficult moments and achieved an amazing goal, a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences degree in Physiology. You can do anything you put your mind to and you can overcome challenges. You are capable and resilient.
We, the faculty in Physiology, are so proud of your accomplishments and we are excited to see all the amazing things you will do in the future. We hope that you will stay in touch with us as you continue your journey. Congratulations December 2020 graduates!
