Physiology Advisors

The Physiology Undergraduate Advising Office is located in the Ina Gittings Building and can be reached at 520-621-4850 or 520-621-2785. The office is staffed by our professional academic advisors who can assist you in understanding the policies, requirements, and procedures associated with a university education. They can help you learn more about the options and opportunities available for your undergraduate education and for your future career plans. Academic advising is strongly recommended for all students who are pre-majors and majors in physiology.

Students entering the University of Arizona with an interest in the Physiology and Medical Sciences major should either attend an Orientation session or contact the Physiology Undergraduate Advising Office prior to registering for classes. Current students who are interested in changing their major to physiology should examine curriculum materials, particularly the The Academic Advisement Report(APRR), before contacting an academic advisor.

Students can make an appointment to see their advisor or they may take advantage of several advising "drop-in" sessions available each week during the academic year at the Ina Gittings Building on campus. Appointments are typically 30 minutes, except during priority registration, when they are 15 minutes.
