All students planning to earn a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with a Major in Physiology and Medical Sciences, including transfer students, all start as Physiology and Medical Sciences majors. New students entering the University of Arizona should apply for admission directly to the Office of Admissions and specify their major as "Physiology and Medical Sciences" in the Department of Physiology, College of Medicine. Admission to the major does not guarantee admission to the major or to advanced standing. Before registering for classes, new students should contact the Physiology and Medical Sciences Undergraduate Program office (520) 621-4850 to schedule an advising appointment with a Physiology Academic Advisor.

The Physiology and Medical Sciences Major Curriculum Guideline check sheet and sample four-year plans ( Plan 1, Plan 2A, Plan 2B, Plan 3A, Plan 3B, Plan 4 for completing the physiology major are provided to assist students in meeting university, college, and major requirements. It is strongly recommended that students meet with a physiology academic advisor each semester during their undergraduate career.
