Dear Physiology Graduates,
This has been another roller coaster of a year. The pandemic situation continued to require changes on campus. As we progressed through the fall 2020 and spring 2021 semester, we continued to adapt and change the way we teach and study and interact. Fortunately, the academic year is ending on a note of optimism with the widespread availability of COVID-19 vaccinations and low infection rates on campus.
Remarkably, we are able to hold an in-person commencement ceremony. We are immensely proud of your accomplishments and look forward to the great privilege of announcing your name and congratulating you as you walk across the stage. We feel such a sense of pride seeing you, our amazing students, complete this challenging degree and we are eager to know about your plans for the future.
This year when your name is called and you walk across the stage, we hope you are able to reflect on the accomplishment of completing your degree. Take a moment and think back to the times when you stayed up late to study, when you had to make sacrifices and when you struggled to learn the enormous amount of information in your classes. Feel that sense of accomplishment. You overcame the difficult moments and achieved an amazing goal, a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences degree in Physiology or Physiology and Medical Sciences. You can do anything you put your mind to, and you can overcome challenges. You are capable and resilient.
We, the faculty in Physiology, are so proud of your accomplishments and we are excited to see all the amazing things you will do in the future. We hope that you will stay in touch with us as you continue on your journey. Congratulations May 2021 graduates!
