  • Why I love being a PSIO student at the University of Arizona: I love being a PSIO student because the courses are so relevant to our lives and my future career, and all of the professors are enthusiastic and knowledgeable about what they teach. The PSIO major has also opened up so many opportunities for me, as I have gotten to be involved in so many ways because of this program. Being a PSIO major has prepared me very well for my future career in a healthcare profession.
  • What I'm involved in outside the classroom: In addition to being a PSIO Ambassador, I am also part of the PSIO Peer Mentor Program, where I mentor freshmen Physiology students and help them get acclimated to the school. I am part of Greek Life here on campus as a member of a fraternity, and I am also on a clinical research team at Banner through the Research Associates Program.
  • Future plans: I plan on attending medical school and becoming a physician. Right now I am in the process of applying to many different schools and interviewing.
  • Ask me about: Getting involved on-campus, selecting a great course schedule, and finding research opportunities.
