Why I love being a PSIO student at the University of Arizona: I love being a PSIO student because I feel like I am a part of a close knit community within such a huge pre-health group on campus. I have taken classes with amazing faculty and had so many options when it came to selecting which electives to take.
What I'm involved in outside of the classroom: I am a volunteer at Tu Nidito, a PSIO Ambasssador, a Pre-Health Ambassador, a member of AED, and a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. I also was a preceptor for Dr. Graham’s General Chemistry course for several semesters.
Future plans: Right now I am studying for my MCAT and plan on applying to medical school in 2024! My long term plan is to become a pediatrician and continue volunteering with kids in my community.
