My Journey with the Physiology and Medical Sciences Program
I joined the University of Arizona's Physiology and Medical Sciences program and my journey so far has been a little bit challenging. There has definitely been a lot of focus that I had to do for specific classes such as PSIO 201 (Human Anatomy & Physiology I) and PSIO 202 (Human Anatomy & Physiology II). I think at times, I definitely questioned if this major was for me. Keeping this major, although challenging, is something that I'm grateful for as it has taught me about not giving up. Having developed study habits and organizational skills helped put me in the best possible position with succeeding in my PSIO courses. The PSIO faculty are really amazing and everyone I've met along the way have been so supportive.
