My Journey with the Physiology and Medical Sciences Program
Before I came to the school, I knew I wanted to do something that involved science. I’ve always been so fascinated with how the human body works and once I learned more about the physiology program, I knew it was the major I wanted to pursue. Looking back at freshman year me walking into my first biology lecture, I get to see how far I have grown as an individual. I have been lucky enough to be taught under some of the best doctors and professors I have ever met as well as the best graduate students who continue to motivate me to follow my dreams and face my fears head on. This major has taught me to be confident in myself and confident in my abilities to succeed in all frames of my life. It is taught me to work hard, never doubt myself, and enjoy the process. I have made amazing connections within this major and cannot wait to continue to do so. I am so grateful to work with some of the most brilliant minds within the school who push me to do better, think outside the box, ask questions, and have fun.
