We are excited to announce that the 2nd University of Arizona Kidney Symposium will be held on at 7:30am – 4pm on Thursday April 17 in HSIB Forum. This full-day event highlights cutting-edge research from kidney-focused UA investigators and incorporates a “Tool Time” session to introduce model systems, tools, and specialties available for collaboration. The keynote lecture “Transcriptional Regulation of Aquaporin-2 – Utilizing Omic Data to Understand Integrative Physiology” will be delivered by Dr. Mark Knepper, MD, PhD, Senior Investigator of the Epithelial Systems Biology Laboratory (ESBL), at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NIHLBI). This program is generously sponsored by the Program for Kidney Health and Disease (PKHD), Department of Physiology, College of Medicine-Tucson, and the UAHS Molecular Systems Medicine Initiative (MSMI). Breakfast and lunch will be provided for registered attendees.
