Dr. Rankin and Dr. Stanescu Receive Prestigious UArizona Teaching Awards

Associate Professor Lucinda (Cindy) Rankin, PhD, received the 2020 Maria Teresa Velez Outstanding Faculty Mentoring Award. This prestigious award honors individuals who have significantly demonstrated an outstanding commitment to mentoring and who are making a difference within The University of Arizona.

Assistant Professor and Undergraduate Program Director Claudia Stanescu, PhD, was awarded the College of Medicine – Tucson Dean's list for Excellence in Teaching Award. These awards recognize faculty members for teaching excellence and their ability to encourage intellectual excitement, inspire the discovery of knowledge, and foster critical inquiry in the classroom or lab.
