Scott Steen, CAE, FASAE, executive director of the American Physiological Society, spoke at the Physiology Seminar Friday, Feb. 28, on “Building the Future of Physiology.”Steen was appointed executive director of the APS in July 2018. The society is a global leader in expanding knowledge related to biological function, championing the importance of physiology for achieving breakthroughs in health, disease and our understanding of life.
In addition to his Phsyiology Seminar presentation, Steen met with undegraduate and graduate students to discuss physiology education and careers.
