The University of Arizona's College of Medicine-Tucson Department of Physiology presents the Seminars in Translational and Advanced Research (STAR) series, hosting Dr. Jason Wu, Assistant Professor of Physiology, University of Arizona.

Dr. Wu is an early-stage investigator dedicated to uncovering the mechanisms by which environmental factors and inflammation influence renal-cardiovascular health and disease. Work in the Wu laboratory centers on adaptive immunity, renal hemodynamics, and gene-environment interactions in hypertension and kidney disease. The overarching research goal is to define renal microcirculation, the role of immune cells in electrolyte transport, and the susceptibility of these processes to genetic variants and environmental stressors.

Join us in-person at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 13, 2026 in Arizona Health Sciences Center, Room 8403.

The lecture will also be available via Zoom.
