My Journey with the Physiology and Medical Sciences Program
Growing up as a ballet dancer since the age of three sparked my early interest in human health and anatomy, as I became fascinated by the body’s capabilities and limitations. This curiosity deepened my interest in physiology and healthcare. After taking my first physiology course during my freshman year, I became confident that pursuing Physiology & Medical Sciences was the perfect major for me! I love how engaging the curriculum is and especially appreciate the hands-on learning experiences with anatomical models, dissections, and microscopes, which have brought the physiological concepts to life. Beyond the classroom, I’ve met some of my closest friends and established a strong support system! The welcoming community, passionate faculty, and supportive resources from this program have greatly contributed to my academic success and career goals.

Following graduation, I want to dance professionally and then go back to graduate school to pursue a career as a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAAs).
