My Journey with the Physiology and Medical Sciences Program
As a first-generation college student, navigating college felt daunting at first, but the support and guidance I received from the Physiology & Medical Sciences program helped me find my path. Programs like PSIO Ambassadors, the PSIO Peer Mentor Program, and the PSIO Honors Academy created a welcoming and supportive environment where I felt I belonged. Through this program, I've been able to discover my passions and explore new interests. I'm so grateful to be a part of a program that not only challenges me academically but also empowers me to grow and give back to my community.
Academic & Career Goals
After graduation, I plan to apply to medical school and pursue a career as a physician. I'm currently drawn to emergency medicine, but I'm excited to continue exploring more specialties and opportunities within the field of medicine!
